Fashion Week Review : Forfex Launch Party

Thursday of Fashion Week saw Forfex take over for their launch party, hosted by Dani Morla and Chi Chi Menendez. With a fair amount of talent at the helm, it was inevitable it would be a great night, we just didn't realise how much could be crammed into one evening! Kicking off proceedings was a showing of "The Bumpkin", the new Forfex look book and a special installation from Robert Montgomery.

Once everyone had had time to take it all in and make their mental purchases for next season, it was time to fire up the evenings entertainment. We were very excited to welcome back Melody Syndrome, and even happier when we found out they'd bought the whole gang this time round. Spellbinding when accompanied by some truly ferocious drumming, they seem to get better and better each time we see them. Special mention must also be made of singer Louis' moustache - one of the finer style points we saw all week.

With the unenviable task of following that up, were Alex and Annie from We are Enfant Terrible who put together a set that had the at times overwhelming crowds moving their feet for the whole night. If anyone found themselves in need of a freshening up, or a half time re-style for the more vain amongst you, the Blind Barber of NYC was on hand to tidy up the loose ends of those fashion week looks. It was certainly the first time we'd seen a short back & sides administered next to a dance floor!

Do make sure you check out his website here, or pop in next time you find yourselves in NYC.
