Here's a quick run down of everything we've got going on - tailored for your pleasure!
Wednesday 2nd:
Tonight is the opening night of Paris Fashion Week, and for that we have something special. The team behind De Jeune Gens Modernes, the finest fashion blog in the land, will be kicking things off for us in impeccable style. Helped by the not inconsiderable talents of Sweden's Peter, Bjorn and John - the world's most renowned whistlers - the evening is shaping up to be a memorable one.
Thursday evening's billing has seemingly managed to cram the entertainment of three nights into one. We have the wonderful Chi Chi Menendez and Forfex to thank to that. The early part of the evening will feature a private presentation of the new line of Forfex shoes, along with their new look book, film and a special installation from Robert Montgomery.
The second part of the evening will see a live performance from Melody Syndrome, whom some of you may remember from their beautiful acoustic performance at Le Carmen last month. Alex and Annie from We Are Enfant Terrible will be capping off the night from behind the decks.
There'll be two live shows at Le Carmen on Friday. The first of which from Open Space & Stars, a dreamy and atmospheric bunch, perfect for kicking off the early hours of the evening. The second concert, courtesy of April 77 will be Walden, an up and coming, distractingly good looking and effortlessly stylish duo from Paris. April 77 will be taking care of proceedings for the rest of the evening with DJ sets from Brice Partouche, Tommy Hubert and Tally Snakebat.
Saturday 5th:
Michael Pitt of Boardwalk Empire fame and his stunning girlfriend Jamie Bochert will be giving a rare live performance on the Saturday night. Going by the name of Francis Wolf, there is naturally a lot of buzz building around the two of them. Irritatingly good looking, a healthy dose of "Fuck You" attitude and rumours of smashed guitars at their last concert, its going to be quite the spectacle. Ami Sioux, Paris' favourite multi-talented beauty will be taking over for the rest of the evening, mining her magnificent collection of rock 'n' roll for our education.
Sunday 6th:
Ponystep celebrate the launch of their new magazine with the help of Jerry Bouthier. Sunday night celebrations always seem to be the best. Sadly, this one's private, but we'll be sure to get some photos up.
Monday 7th:
Belgian songstress Selah Sue is the live performance for the day. Giving her first showcase, and with an album out imminently, this would certainly be a good time to catch her. Mike Nouveau, New York DJ extraordinaire, and loved fixture of the Fashion Week scene will be DJing for the evening, proving there is no reason not to party on a Monday!
Tuesday 8th:
Rounding off Fashion Week in the best possible way imaginable will be Jean Charles de Castelbajac, who will be hosting his after show party at Le Carmen.
And here it all is in flyer form!
